Quilters Alphabet: The Revolutionary Rotary Cutter!

Where would we be without it? Would you be quilting if you had to use templates for everything?

We all love the Revolutionary Rotary Cutter. It has caused, allowed and fueled the current quilting revival. Though this has been a sustained revival of 35 years or so, we are not going to stop quilting NOW!  And WHY?  Because of this single Resplendent, Responsive tool!
So we pay Resounding homage to the Royal, the Radical, The Revolutionary Rotary Cutter with this block. It, too, is a Relevant addition to our Quilters Alphabet quilt.

BTW, our doll quilts series will continue through the year (The August Doll Quilt was posted on Saturday August 25) and there are lots of other great free quilt patterns here on the site… Like our swap/scrap quilt patterns and, of course, our Quilter’s Alphabet quilt block of the week which will both be continuing all year long.

And coming soon will be our 2012 Fall Quilts which will be the glorious and historic Burgoyne Surrounded (Supply List now available) and the beautiful Iris Quilt.

Class starts again this coming Monday, September 10.  Can’t wait to see everyone and hope you will bring in your current or last project for showing and telling!

Here is the PDF for the Remarkable, Razor-Sharp, Reliable, Revolutionary Rotary Cutter block…
