Nuclei Snowball Swap Quilt

Here is the design for our class swap this week of 8″ light and dark green squares. Of course, if you live outside of the OC where our classes are held, Nuclei could be made of any collection of 50 light and dark (25 of each) squares or scraps larger than 8″.

This graphically appealing yet easy to make pattern utilizes the diagonal seams method of turning 5 simple-to-cut squares into an octagon. Whether you use lights and darks or just a variety of color and value, the quilt will go together easy and give wonderful results.
The pattern PDF is linked here…Nuclei Green Swap Quilt.

Thanks for stopping by. Come back next month when our Swap Quilt pattern will feature yellow fabrics, golden and butter, for our light and dark values. And this site has plenty of other great quilt patterns so take a look around.
