Snowball Hexagon Swap Quilt

I have had this quilt in the back of my mind for a while now. I have shown the first draft in class. When I started to play with it again, I thought “Whadiffi…”

What if I used different colors on those rectangular snowballs? Would the stars show up more? And sure enough they do! This pattern is a pretty mindless pattern but has enough to keep track of to hold your attention. And when you tire of making the squares, put some on your design wall ( or floor or bed) and watch those four pointed stars glisten!
