Spring Medallion – Seminole Border Part 2

Sorry for the delay in presenting this.  We are getting close to the finish.  After this, there is is the final whole cloth border, then quilting and binding with a flat flange.  I will also be discussing labels and sleeves before we wrap this project up and move onto our Summer MYSTERY!

As you can see, the border design has changed just a bit.  This was for logistical purposes… I could not logically make the other design work out!  But I like this one too and it looks great and is probably  truer to the Seminole genre.  There is a bit of a miter, but you can use the  pinless mitering  method again (Thanks again Charlotte!)  Also note, there are more diamonds on each side than in the mock-up… again for logistical purposes…

Don’t forget, our monthly Swap series (new pattern, “Framed” was presented Monday May 7 and Mod Framed has been posted too), more of the Quilter’s Alphabet Block of the Week and our fabulous Monthly Doll Quilts/Table Toppers will also continue here so keep checking back. And be sure to look at our ETSY site for even more patterns.
