RIP Davy Jones
Were you a Monkees Fan? Many years ago, I was. In fact, we were just talking about going to see Davy perform this spring. I was so sad to hear about Davy Jones’ passing. Then this arrived… That same day, I swear.
Some dear friends were at an autograph signing here in LA a few weeks ago and Davy was there. They had him sign a photo to me (Thank you R & M!) and snapped this as he was signing.
These pics arrived in my hands on the day of David’s passing. 66 seemed ancient back in the day when I was listening to Hey! Hey! We’re the Monkees! and Last Train to Clarksville. But it seems so young now.
Life is fragile. Thank you Davy for some happy times.

Yes, I agree with you Lyn about David Jones passing. He was too young…now that I too have a card
that says I am one too. Guess this is part of the process.
