Quilters Alphabet G: Grandma’s Glorious Garden

    Grandma’s Flower Garden is the quintescient quilt pattern. So beautiful with all those neat little hexagons and so difficult with all those neat little hexagons!  But how could I not include Grandma’s Glorious  Garden as our G block?  This is surely a historic block and will undoubted enjoy continued popularity.

The Ventura 100 Doll Quilt

This is just FUN! We had a roaring good time when we raced up to Ventura for our quilting retreat. I saw this antique quilt in a vignette at Roxanne’s Quilt Shop in Carpinteria and thought what a cute doll quilt it would make.

City Blocks Quilt (And The Pattern!)

The Postage Stamp Doll Quilt / Table Topper

The Postage Stamp quilt has a long tradition in quiltmaking going back well into the 1800s. Then, every scrap counted and nothing was wasted. That concept still applies for quilters today. So dig through your scrap bag and/or swap some with friends to create your own bit of history.

Spring Medallion: Mitering the Corners of the Applique Border
