This week we appliqué the lamps to the backgrounds cut last week. The Pattern PDF is below. Also I have prepared a detailed tutorial on using Paper Backed Fusible Web for appliqué. This is a step by step instructional tutorial so check it out. I will be doing another tutorial on machine stitching the appliqué down soon.

Note that although the quilt illustrated is wonderful in luminous batik it can be done in fabulous prints.  This is an iconic shape so it does translate to other fabrics to make quite a funky statement:
