The response to this new Block of the Week has been tremendous. Thank you!  It’s going to be a fun year so follow along!

I love this block!
As the youngest of five children, the Quintuplets block has special meaning. Do you see the five pinwheels?  To make this block you need an accurate 1/4″ seam allowance and a bit of organization.  This instructions spell it all out, so just click below to get started.

By the way, as we have been discussing this project in class, I started to think there may be some opportunities to use a printed Christmas fabric motif in a few of these blocks.  Almost every quilter has a bit of Christmas fabric stashed away, so start thinking about it.  If you have a favorite fabric dig it out.  We’ll find a place for it in this quilt.  For the whole supply list, look here.  If you missed the first block, the Striped Ornament, it’s here.
