Wow! The athletes are awesome! And those Patchwork Banners are beautiful. That patchwork inspired this pattern now available on Craftsy.
Our 2014 Block Of The Week Quilt Pattern will begin right here at LynBrown.com next week. We’ll do 48 blocks all on a Christmas theme.
We had a fantabulous Show N Tell on Friday. Charlotte made a particularly beautiful and interesting quilt…
Most of the design elements of this Boxes and Bows quilt come from the fabrics used… The blocks are all made from striped fabrics. We are swapping striped 10″ squares this week in class (in the OC, CA) but you could grab stripes from your stash and/or trade with friends!
Here is an update on our 2013 NOCCCD SCE OAP Class fabric swaps. We’ve added the Stash Swap for later in April…
Here is a traditional OLD pattern that an older child would have made to hone her skills. As a pieced pattern, this is a pretty difficult block, but as a fused appliqué block, it’s a snap. Give it a try and soon you’l be “Winging” along!
It’s nearly the Fourth of July, Independence Day! I’ve posted this cute, quick USA table runner before and I thought I should repost it again now.
I love living (and teaching!) in Orange County, Ca. A while back, we did the Baltimore Comes To California quilt (available in my Pattern Shop) that was a true homage to our beautiful area and the great Golden State. Now, I’m at it again with this Orange County Oranges quilt.
This week we are swapping Purple 8″ squares in our NOCCCD classes. These swaps are always fun and the fabric variety wonderful. And each swap brings a new quilt design (or two!) AND all the swap quilt patterns work with all the 2012 swaps!
