WOOHOO! If you have been following along, you are all set to finish up this Nostalgic Nine In Nine Quilt with some pretty borders! This classic pattern wasn’t difficult, but like anything worth doing, it took the investment of time. And that investment is going to pay off dividends!

This week, at long last, we move on from those small 3 1/2″ 9 Patch Blocks to the Large 9 1/2″ 9 In 9 blocks and really get a feel for how the whole quilt will turn out!
** Have you found the error in these sheets? The Strips Sets are 3 1/2″ when stitched up, not 4 1/2″… I am consistent… I made the same error on all three weeks instructions! So I am posting new editions of those pages below… and I’ve caught the error now (Thank you Georgan!)**
Here we go again… More 9 Patches… But you expected that! This week, we are halfway there. Lots more 9-Patches… And that’s the fun of it!

As the Spring Semester draws to a close next week (with, hopefully, a huge Show and Tell in each class!) my thoughts have turned to the fall. After discussing possible projects with my students, we settled on the Nostalgic 9 In 9 as our fall project.
