This week, I offer the pattern for the blocks in this quilt. The blocks all have the same construction, but use two different colorations of fabric.
Our Friendship Group had our annual mountain retreat this month. I was fiddling with the design of a quilt for my grandson. My friend Cathy O’Brien looked over my shoulder, asked me a few questions and made some design suggestions… And this O’Brien Sunrise quilt was born!
The Lone Star is an iconic patchwork motif. But this has always been a difficult quilt to make due to “required” set-in seams. But those set-in seams are NOT required!
