The winter has been long this year. Here in Southern California, it is raining at last. I love being snug at my computer while the rain falls! Now, if only I had a bit of candy… Ohh! Candy Canes!

Here is our second pieced block (and fifth block overall) for our 2014 Do You See… Block of the Week. I’m calling it Christmastime because of the Hourglasses in the design.
I thought I would continue with the Christmas Tree Trimming theme this week. What’s the best part of the tree? The Star on top, of course.
Today, we start our new 2014 Block of the Week titled “Do You See..?” This quilt will be made up of 8″ finished blocks all on a Christmas theme. One block will be presented here each Thursday by 8 pm California time.
We’re BACK! Quilt Classes in North Orange County start again this week and I have been plotting and planning. Now I have a bunch of wonderful projects to share with everyone!
